K-Nearest Neighbors (page 2 of 6)

The idea behind KNN is relatively straightforward. A KNN model makes a prediction about how to classify something or estimate a continuous target based on its neighbors. It is based on the idea of physical neighborhoods whereby neighborhoods are generally populated with similar (not different) types of people (i.e., birds of a similar feather flock together).
