Sam: Age 21 (really); Lee: Age 29 (really)
Each beer is given a rating based on its merit. Bonus considerations like price and delivery are considered separatly and denoted with a "b". Exotic Considerations like fruits and non standard ingredients are considered separatly and denoted with an "e". A few simple examples: Pete's Wicked Ale 3b-2 (the beer gets a 3 but the screw top and chubby bottle detract from the experience); Sam Adam's Cherry Wheat 3.2e-2 (again, the beer gets a 3.2 but the strong cherry flavor gets old quickly thus points are subtracted); Red Hook ESB 2.8b1 (Since this beer is less expensive then other beers in it's class it earns bonus points). It is important to remember that bonus point and exotic points do not increase or decrease the beer's overall rating but instead indicate another dimension to the beer.
