Using On-line Help

Windows 95 has a very good on-line help program. In many cases it has animated examples showing how to execute selected funtions. To access it:

 

Many windows programs like Microsoft Word allow you to access on-line program specific help by pressing the F1 key or accessing help from the menu bar. By convention the Help menu is usually the rightmost menu option.

Additionally, a great deal of documentation and helpful information is available on the World Wide Web. As a starting point University Computing has created an index to some of these resources at http://www.richmond.edu/~univcomp/onlinehelp.htm
