Delete a File, Folder or Directory

To delete a file, folder or directory:

• Click on the file or folder you want to delete to highlight it.
• Click on the File menu at the top of the Explorer window.
• Select the Delete option by clicking on it.
• Click Yes in the Confirm Folder Delete dialog box.

If you have activated the toolbar, as an alternative to using the File menu - Delete option you may use the X in toolbar to delete a highlighted file or folder.

You may also use the My Computer window to delete a file or folder. Follow the same steps you use with the Explorer window.
