| The first group will be responsible to introduce Friedrich Nietzsche's
On the Genealogie of Morals. Their task is to focus on the Preface
and prepare the way to the study of the three essays. They will make a
brief presentation in answerin the following questions:
1° Who was Friedrich Nietzsche? Why should we read his text? 2° What concepts, notions, terms or even historical events are associated with Nietzsche? 3° What are the main ideas of his Preface?

and the first Essay. In reading, attempt to do the following:
1° Read Section 16 after the Preface and give the main points. 2° Read the other sections and answer the following questions: 1) How does Nietzsche define the notion "noble"?
