Description
. . .
The VCU French festival is an important cultural event that has become one of the Richmond's hallmark. For a weekend, the city becomes the focus and the magnet of new French films, attracting hundreds and people not only from surrounding areas, but also from far away corners of the United States. This event is particularly of great interest for the University of Richmond students and faculty. First, as residents of Richmond, even temporary ones, this event is there for us to learn from and to enjoy. As students of the French language, it is a unique chance to see the most recent manifestations of French artistic expressions moving in the backyard. The festival is an important event for the celebration of French culture and let's go out and take advantage of it. Each student is required to watch at least
two movies of which one must be a long film and to write and submit a two-part
report due April 12, 2000 no later than 4:30. This is the format you will
follow to write your report.
