Juniperus - Juniper

Trees and shrubs, sometimes prostrate; leaves all needle-like or dimorphic (needle-like juvenile, scale-like adult), opposite or whorled; ovulate cones fleshy and berry-like at maturity, globose, small 5-10 mm in diameter, often covered with gray or bluish waxy bloom.
