(b) "Metaphysical nihilism and the subtraction argument" by E.J. Lowe

(c) "Why the subtraction argument does not add up" by Alexander Paseau.

 

2. State clearly and precisely each author's goal.

3. For each article succinctly state the author's strategy for achieving that goal.

 

4. For articles (b) and (c) describe the respects in which the strategies are the same and those in which they differ.
