XIX. Translate each of the following sentences into PL.
- Andrea is both intelligent and beautiful, but not rich.
- Bentley is neither rich, nor beautiful, nor intelligent.
- If Bentley is intelligent, so are Deirdre and Andrea.
- Andrea loves Bentley but despises Charles.
- Andrea loves herself and Charles and despises both Bentley
and Deirdre.
- Charles likes Bentley if and only if Bentley is both shorter
than Charles and is rich.
- If Deirdre is shorter than Charles and Charles is shorter
than Andrea, then Deirdre is shorter than Andrea.
- If Bentley desires Deirdre and she desires him, then they
love each other.
- If Charles is neither rich nor beautiful nor intelligent,
then no one loves him.
- Everything is black.
- Someone loves Mike, but not everyone loves Mike.
- Everyone will study, but not everyone will pass.
- If Gertrude passes, then someone will not pass.
- Not everyone will pass, but Michelle will.
- Some, but not all, will pass.
- No one will pass if Gertrude doesn't pass, and Gertrude won't pass unless everyone studies.
- Some will pass only if everyone studies.
- Everyone studying is a necessary condition for everyone passing.
- Mike is honest unless George is honest, in which case not everyone is honest.
- Gertrude will pass if and only if not everyone will pass.
