1. Read H.L. Gold's "Perfect Murder" (Thrilling Wonder Stories, March 1940, pp. 74-77)

Is the story logically consistent or not?

2. In a minimum of three typewritten pages (12pt Times New Roman font, doublespaced with a maximum of 1 inch margins) (i) briefly summarize the events of the story, (ii) present and defend your answer to the question in 1, and (iii) present and rebut at least one objection to your chosen answer.

Each sheet of your paper must be numbered and have your name on it. Late assignments receive no credit. Note that, since I value clear and precise language, unnecessary verbiage is to be avoided.
