Electromagnetism

G.P.Gilfoyle, Instructor

The Z machine at Sandia National Lab in New Mexico is a particle accelerator designed to produce X-rays and very high temperatures to study nuclear fusion.

Electromagnetism (Physics 305) studies electrostatic fields and potentials, dielectrics, magnetic fields, and potentials. Maxwell's equations, electromagnetic waves. This page contains materials related to the course including solutions to some of the assigned homework problems.
