Mathematica Notebooks
The Mathematica electronic notebooks developed
for Classical Mechanics (Physics 303) are
available below along with a description of how
to load them onto your computer.
All of the notebooks have been
tested.

The Mathematica Notebook files
contain ASCII text, and can be
transferred by email, scp, or other text-file transfer utility.
You can right-click on the links below and save the files to disk.
The files can then
be read or edited using a copy of Mathematica or MathReader.

Doing definite, indefinite, and numerical integrals in Mathematica.

This can be a useful way to present your data or calculations when the plots cover a wide range of values.

Examples of tools for obtaining the eigenvalues and eigenvectors from a matrix and also getting
the coefficients of a sum of eigenvectors for a particular set of initial conditions.

Investigation of Rutherford scattering and the behavior of the orbit equation for
