The Black History Museum and Cultural Center of Virginia (BHM) will spearhead the efforts to publicize and solicit volunteers for the Virginia Freedmen's Bureau Indexing project that will begin in 2007. The BHM will be the Virginia coordinator for volunteer recruitment. The BHM will work with interested organizations and individuals about opportunities to participate in the indexing project.
